Welcome to SpellDamage.com – a site where I write about Warhammer Online and World of Warcraft (yes, both at the same time!)

My name is Chad Thiele, I’m an avid MMO gamer – currently hooked on Warhammer Online and World of Warcraft. Right now I play the Sorceress career in WAR and the Shaman class in WoW. I don’t plan to stay with the Shaman after the Wrath of the Lich King is released, I’ll be restarting as a Death Knight.

Why SpellDamage?

I’m also a programmer and love everything related to the Internet. So I run this website as a way to express myself about these two games I enjoy playing. Sometimes I’ll rant, QQ, get pissed, etc… but I’ll try to keep it constructive. Since I love software development, I’ll probably build some tools for players too (like the Sorceress action damage calculator here).

If you visited in the past, you may remember that this site was a spelldamage calculator for the spell casters in WoW. It sucks that I had to give that up, but at least now I don’t have that constant naggging feeling that I’ve got a web app that isn’t quite done yet. Though, I do get the urge to write a web app for the Death Knight every now and then… maybe someday I will. If I do, it will be a small, very specific tool that will be very good at one thing, and not try to do too much at once.
